Todd Ellis

Todd Ellis is the Director of Cyber & Strategic Risk Services at abip, P.C., bringing over 25 years of industry experience. Todd is responsible for the strategy, development, and delivery of abip’s proactive cyber services. With a comprehensive understanding of security frameworks, risk transfer products, and requirements, Todd is trained to think like “bad actors” and provide forward-looking assessments of new threats and evolving security technologies.

Todd offers a practiced and successful approach to client interaction, drawing on his technical depth from extensive operational experience. He excels in helping organizations meet their technology goals while providing guidance to ensure business operations align with risk tolerance, reducing the likelihood and impact of data breaches. Todd enhances overall security posture through the application of information security principles, best practices, and technical solutions.

As a subject matter expert on cyber and risk solutions, Todd has worked with a diverse range of industries and company sizes. He is passionate about developing customized solutions for clients and assisting them in enhancing their knowledge of Cyber & Strategic Risk Services.

Professional Background

Before joining abip, Todd managed a Managed Service Provider (MSP) for 25 years, with the last 10 years focused on security and leading a cybersecurity practice. He has provided both proactive and reactive services to clients of all sizes, across various industries, and for all types of attack and threat surfaces. Additionally, Todd has worked as a principal consultant with numerous clients and managed a team of senior systems engineers in his role as CTO

Mr. Ellis is a United States Marine Corps Veteran and holds numerous certifications including CISA, CISSP, CCSP, CEH, and CCISO. He is an active member of the International Information System Security Certification Consortium (ISC)2.
