Scott Irvine

Scott L. Irvine, CPA, is the managing partner of abip, P.C. with over 20 years of public accounting and industry experience. His public accounting experience has been as an auditor and consultant with large local CPA firms. Scott’s audit experience emphasizes privately held companies, real estate, technology, and numerous service providers. As a consultant, he has worked with businesses in multiple industries to increase profitability, analyze cash flow, streamline accounting processes, assist in software implementations, secure financing, general business consulting, and implement best practices.

Professional Background

Scott left public accounting in 1999 to be the Controller/CFO of a privately held software company with revenue in excess of $50 million. During his tenure, he was responsible for all financial aspects of the operation and assisted with the acquisitions and mergers of other software companies.

Education and Associations

Mr. Irvine graduated Magna Cum Laude from Texas State University with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting. He is a member of the Houston Chapter of the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants (TSCPA), the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), and the BNI Memorial chapter.
