Ryan Summers, ESQ, is the Director of the Strategic Tax Advisory Services at ABIP, P.C., and brings over a decade of legal experience to the firm. Ryan has experience with developing tax credit and incentive strategies for clients to reduce tax liabilities and has successfully defended and sustained over $20 million in government incentives during his career.  Ryan serves clients in a wide array of industries and helps business owners develop tax planning solutions relating to the State and Federal Research and Development Tax Credit, Employee Retention Credit, and Cost Segregation. He has extensive experience representing clients before the IRS and state taxing agencies in tax controversy setting relating to those incentives.

Education and Associations

Mr. Summers graduated from South Texas College of Law with a Juris Doctor (JD) and from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Science degree. He is a member of the State Bar of Texas and serves as the Secretary for the Greater Houston Manufacturers Association.
