Jorge Diaz

Jorge Diaz is an accomplished accounting and business management professional with more than 15 years of leadership experience in financial management, operations, and client service. Throughout his career, he has consistently demonstrated a passion for helping organizations grow, improve operational efficiency, and achieve long-term financial success.

Professional Background

Jorge joined abip CPAs in 2013 as a Senior Staff Accountant in the Client Accounting Services Department, where exposure to a wide range of industries allowed him to expand his expertise and become a trusted advisor to clients. He then began specializing in real estate accounting while also taking a leadership role in training CPAs on industry-specific practices. In 2015, he was selected to lead the merger integration between McLennan & Associates and abip CPAs, gaining deep exposure to Special Purpose Districts throughout Texas.

Today, Jorge's primary focus is providing exceptional service and innovative solutions to Special District clients across Texas. Under his leadership, the firm serves more than 120 municipalities and special purpose districts, and he leads a team of over 27 dedicated professionals, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and employee development. His combination of technical expertise, operational insight, and dedication to client success continues to drive growth and create lasting value for the organizations and communities he serves.

Jorge holds a B.B.A. in Accounting from the University of Houston, where he graduated with honors.

Jorge is a graduate of the Central Fort Bend Chamber Leadership program (2018).
