Fernando J. Rocha, CPA, is a partner at abip, P.C. and has extensive experience in tax and consulting-related matters, he brings over 25 years of experience from working with mid to large-size firms. Fernando specializes in working with closely held businesses, professional service firms, and healthcare industries. His role includes nurturing client relationships, collaborating with clients as a strategic advisor, and keeping both entity owners and individuals focused on their lifecycle goals.

Fernando has held several different roles throughout his professional history, he has served as manager, shareholder, and owner in his tenure. Throughout his career, Fernando has developed key qualifications in leadership, collaboration, and innovative thinking. Fernando’s most recent experience before joining abip, P.C. was with BDO USA, LLP as an experienced tax manager, developing people, operations, and procedures, and assisting clients set and meeting goals as well as sustaining their growth and profitability.

Education and Associations

Mr. Rocha graduated from Texas Tech University with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting. Fernando is an active member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), The Texas Society of Certified Public Accounts (TSCPA), the San Antonio Chapter of the TSCPA, and the San Antonio Estate Planners Council.
