Tax Manager

TAX SERVICES

Our team provides a comprehensive evaluation of a client’s tax position in terms of past, present, and future needs. This includes organizational tax needs and managing their income tax planning and filings. 

In the role of Tax Manager, you will be presented with exciting opportunities to engage directly with clients and firm management, addressing their inquiries, assisting with tax planning, and overseeing various business matters. This will involve reviewing advanced business and individual tax returns, as well as conducting estimates and year-end tax planning. As part of your responsibilities, you will conduct thorough research on tax issues and prepare well-structured research memos.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide technical review
• Provide tailored tax advice and guidance to clients based on their specific needs
• Main point of contact and lead on compliance and tax modeling
• Lead engagement teams and collaborate with Partners providing day-to-day management of accounting services to clients
• Identify effective tax solutions for new and existing clients in various industries
• Mentor and develop engagement teams providing leadership, counseling, and career guidance
• Actively participate in marketplace pursuits and recruiting activities
• Identify service opportunities for new and existing clients to advance ABIP tax initiatives
• Manage and grow a portfolio of clients while developing a reputation in the market

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or business discipline
• Minimum of six (6) years tax experience in a public accounting firm with demonstrated supervisory experience
• CPA certification required
