John DuPree, CPA

John T. DuPree, CPA, CFE, is an audit manager of Alonzo, Bacarisse, Irvine & Palmer, P.C. (“ABIP”). Mr. DuPree has 11 years of experience in public accounting. He has extensive experience in audits of non-profit organizations and governmental entities including audits under Government Auditing Standards and OMB Circular A-133.

In addition, Mr. DuPree is a Certified Fraud Examiner. This credential indicates that he has demonstrated his skills in fraud detection and fraud prevention. John has been a frequent presenter of various fraud related continuing professional education courses in the San Antonio area.

John is an alumnus of the University of Texas Pan American where he received his BBA degree in 1991 and of Sam Houston State University where he received his MBA in 1999. He is also a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Texas Society of CPAs, the Houston Chapter of TSCPA and the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners. John recently moved to Houston from the San Antonio area where he was the treasurer for Big Brothers Big Sisters of San Antonio and the Sons of The American Revolution.
